Validators

Validators (more precisely collators) are the accounts that produce blocks on the parachain. They receive rewards for this process and they might also receive commissions from external delegators.

PoS Validators

You can become a PoS Validator by binding a PoS Validator NFT. These validators cannot receive external stakes, instead they receive rewards based on their NFT's nominal value and their own staked currency (MOS).

A PoS Validator can:

• ✅ Receives rewards
• ✅ Produces blocks
• ❌ Does not accept delegations
• ❌ Does not receive commissions

DPoS Validators

You can become a DPoS Validator by binding a DPoS Validator NFT. These NFTs are generally more expensive, but it gives you permission to accept delegations (stakes from external users).
